Education and Experience Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in fashion design and 3+ years of design experience in the apparel industry highly preferred (M’s and/or W’s)
  • Strong command of Adobe Illustrator.
  • Proficiency in  Adobe Photoshop,  Word, Excel, Powerpoint and PLM systems
  • Experience with 3D tools and Textile development software (Browzwear, Generation Digital, Ned Graphics) helpful
  • Strong understanding of diverse fabrications and garment finishing construction, synthetic and sustainable fibers
  • Knowledge of printing, dyeing and finishing techniques
  • Relentless attention to detail
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to meet and maintain schedules
  • Proven track record of delivering product concepts that meet customer expectations and business objectives
  • Possesses high level of ownership, looks at challenges with a positive attitude
  • Demonstrates passion and commitment to improving the customer’s experience
  • Ability to be productive in an open, ever changing, fast paced environment
  • Demonstrates initiative, is conscientious and provides complete follow-through on areas of responsibility
  • Excellent verbal, written and visual communication/presentation skills
  • Portfolio a must
  • Yoga, Swim, Fitness, Outdoor, Climbing or other athletic passion and experience a plus
  • References upon request 

Technical Skills:

  • Excellent illustrator flat technical sketching skills
  • Excellent color senseMunsell color test results helpful
  • Must possess expert troubleshooting skills
  • Strong written, verbal, and graphical communications skills with the ability to express complex technical concepts effectively
  • Ability to work well with people from different disciplines with varying degrees of technical experience
  • Ability to work both independently and with minimal guidance, as well as with a team

Travel Requirements:

  • Possible International travel
