Summary:

Responsible for supporting Columbia’s consumer facing digital strategy and will have an opportunity to participate in the formulation and implementation of key elements of the overall strategy. The Business analyst would work collaboratively with digital leadership, business stakeholders and the digital technology teams to identify and document the scope, requirements, solution proposals and design specifications for the planned initiatives.  Need to also demonstrate ability to recommend and prioritize projects with an overall objective of increased consumer experience, improved traffic and conversion. Excellent communication skills, problem solving skills and an ability to understand and respond to consumer needs in a changing business environment are required.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Deliver a high quality and consistent end to end consumer experience across direct to consumer digital channels.
  • Decomposition of the business strategy and roadmap capabilities into concrete functional deliverables that can be leveraged in building highly innovative digital consumer technology solutions.
  • Support development of digital initiatives; work with internal and external stakeholders to manage projects and develop supporting materials for digital projects including business requirements, user stories, process documents, flowcharts, user documentation, use acceptance plans, RFPs, etc.
  • Help gain consensus on business and technical decisions and ensure that appropriate resources are employed to deliver high quality results.
  • Foster teamwork, communication, collaboration while managing competing priorities.
  • Lead ad-hoc research projects; evaluate and recommend digital tools and platforms.
  • Provide guidance with digital best practices for an Omni channel digital consumer experience.
  • Collaborate with the support team in triaging issues and provide business oversight of the support process.

Requirements:

 

  • 5-8 years’ experience in ecommerce, retail or consumer experience.
  • 2-3 years’ experience in consumer facing digital technologies.
  • Must have good understanding on digital devices, internet of technology, social integration and data driven approach to drive next generation digital experience.
  • Experience in managing SaaS solution and delivery models; Ability to manage strong relationship with solution providers.
  • Experience with Adobe Analytics or similar analytics program is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with ecommerce, CRM, CMS, and Order management systems such as Demandware, SAP, SalesForce, Hybris, Endeca,  ATG, Adobe AEM or similar.
  • Proven ability to work successfully in a team environment and individually, across various teams and levels within the organization.
  • Ability to think strategically and creatively, while at the same time developing practical and specific tactics that produces results.
  • Ability to make judgment decisions and demonstrate consistent follow through.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to effectively multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
