The Account Services Rep will successfully manage Columbia’s most high volume complex account(s) or large account base for a specified business. This position is accountable to interpret sales initiatives, make recommendations and provide proactive order management to support these goals.


This position will be tasked with providing exceptional account management for assigned accounts from placement of order to delivery of goods.  The will drive collaboration with Planning and Distribution to ensure optimal delivery and order fill rate and recommend and facilitate process improvements to support in-full and on-time delivery of customer’s orders and successful execution of order to cash process.




  • Manage orders for key accounts from placement of orders to delivery of product.
  • Understand and comply with each accounts requirements and expectations.
  • Through continuous improvement take action to correct inefficiencies in the order to delivery process. 
  • Drive company-wide change and process improvement by leading cross-functional teams and projects.
  • Utilize internal/external resources to fully understand the complexities of retail partners.
  • Analyze order book to ensure SKU level accuracy as well as terms, prices, and delivery dates.
  • Analyze customer bulk orders, ensuring timely product allocation and shipping.  Initiate communication and collaborate with sales reps/sales management to ensure consistent bulk review and documentation/approval of date changes and cancellations.
  • Proactively communicate to field sales reps and accounts to suggest corrective action where necessary. Drive issue resolution at the PO level, ensuring follow-through from all parties.
  • Analyze order management process at the customer level and make recommendations to sales reps/customers on process improvements. 
  • Maximize on-time delivery and fill rate for designated customers by analyzing assignment reports and partnering with Planning, Sales and other internal partners to drive issue resolution.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field
  • 5-8 years business experience, preferably in retail, order management and/or apparel/footwear
  • Ability to influence others, comfortable interacting with customers, sales reps and management team.
  • Proactive and assertive in follow through with customers and business partners
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including intermediate experience using Excel to create spreadsheets, charts and pivot tables.
  • SAP experience preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to represent Columbia Account Operations in customer and sales meetings and conference calls.
